Holy Hell...Its HOT out.

I have like 4 1/2 cases of water here at the house. Do you think there is one cold one in the fridge for me to drink? Oh no. *sighs* I had a sip of Pepsi, and it just made me feel sickie. So here I sit drinking warm bottled water until the stuff in the fridge is chilled.

This past weekend, we put the pool up. It is now officially summer at our house. We have a beautiful new pool installed, and its fully functional with chemicals and everything.

Ok, so that picture shows that its not done yet, but thats because I havent had a chance to send The Hub up onto the roof of the garage to take new pictures. I will do that today. The Hub also plans to build steps for the natives to get in and out of the pool (and something to attach the ladder to). The pool looks glorious today (albiet a little on the chilly side) and I would love to be out swimming out in it. However 72 degrees is a wee bit chilly for me still. Although it is warming up nicely. You just know the natives will be in there before you can blink an eye after school tonight! LOL
Thats all for now! Ciao :))

TGIF

Thank Gawd it's Friday.

Very restless sleep again last night and Im not even sure why. You will almost never catch me blogging this early (7 am) but the fact remains that I couldnt sleep, and I was bored just laying in bed. So here I am.

I should be getting the kids lunches ready and bags packed and what not. But yeah. Im not. lol

Last night, The Girl and her class were due back at the school by 7pm. The Hub went to pick her up, and another parent (or teacher maybe?!) went around and let all of the parents know who were waiting that they wouldnt be back until 8pm. The Hub races off to pick me up at work. I didnt even get back into the office until almost 7:30. I had a very busy night again last night. I swear that on Thursdays only, I am doomed to never get out of there on time. I didnt finish my paperwork and actually step out of the hospital doors until 7:50 - by this time, The Hub is damn near in a panic and yells at me as soon as I sit down in the car, telling me he just should have waited at the school. (No one told him to come get me...He could have waited at the school...I would have been fine with that) We race all the way to the school to pick up The Girl and get there at 8:10. *LUCKY* for us, the bus hadnt arrived yet. The bus didnt even make it back to the school until almost 8:40. The Girl was so tired on the bus that she had been sleeping. Her parent supervisor had to wake her up to get her off the bus. Then we still had to go into the bank so I could make my deposit from work. ACK. What a night. Geesh.

Today the Hub and I have to do our deliveries of those effing papers. We deliver for this particular company who has a monthly publication. Thats all fine and dandy. Well they ask us (and The Hub thinks this is a great idea for extra $$) if we would deliver this weekly one they are putting out. I tell her I dont want any part of it as Im too busy but The Hub & The Boy will do it together, once The Boy is done school. (And yet I still find myself helping....Im telling ya, once school is done and The Boy can help cause I cant handle the stress of what is yet, another part time job.

I also have to do some laundry and will have to find some time to do that this weekend. It is supposed to be nice weather, so hopefully I can take advantage of using the clothes line to dry them instead of wasting my hydro and using the dryer. (Sorry Poodle, I know how green with envy you get when I mention my clothes line! tee hee)

CLOTHES LINE, CLOTHES LINE, CLOTHES LINE!!!

Well anyhow...You know the drill!

See ya next week. Maybe tomorrow, but most likely, next week.

Is it Friday yet?

Boy I'll be glad when this week is over. Still irritated with MIL. I have to work tonight. The Hub and I have to do our deliveries (we deliver a weekly publication for a few extra $$), The Girl is on her school trip today and I worry about her. They are going to the TO Zoo and thats just so far and I feel uneasy about her travelling so far without me or The Hub. We've had talks all this week about staying with her parent 'supervisor' and not running off, or going with strangers and to be on her best behaviour. When I started to chat with her about it this morning on the way to school, she says 'I knoooooow Mom, we already talked about it' I know she'll be fine. She'll have a blast, and she'll arrive home, safe and sound. But Im a worrier. What can I say?

They are calling for T-storms again today. I hope it holds off for all the kids today while they are at the zoo. How much would that suck? We have sun here, so hopefully its just as nice up in TO. Its a little cooler today so at least they wont be sweating to death and getting heat stroke.up there wandering around in the sun.

Well, Im off. I am trying to get ahold of a landscaping place to find out the price to have sand delivered. However they arent answering yet, and its almost 10 am. Shouldnt they be open by now? Anyhow, talk to ya all tomorrow unless of course something good happens later today. But you know that drill. Have a good one.

I had a chocolate bar....

Which I had been saving in the fridge. I never ended up eating it, so I let The Hub have it. Now I need/want the chocolate.

Just an all around shitty morning and Im really jonesing for some chocolate.

Long story short. Apparently family is an inconvience for my MIL. The end. Im pissed with her and I think she knows it. (She had better know it)

*sighs* Thats all Ive got for now. Unless (as usual) something good happens later today!

Rain today...Soccer tonight?!

Well, it seems as if the weather network is forcasting t-storms and heavy rain tonight (although you wouldnt know it right now) Im wondering if The Girl will have soccer tonight?

Again this year I have budding soccer pros on my hands. Both the Girl and Boy wanted to play this year. I think though The Girl had forgottent that soccer wasnt as much fun as she thought it was. Her heart just isnt in it this year so maybe I'll suggest to Grandma that we sign her up for something different. The Boy on the other hand is LOVING it and is an EXCELLENT goalie.

Im officially working now. I work for the two local hospitals and Im in charge of television rental. You want to rent your tv? Then Im your girl. Its going pretty well. Some days are busier than others (was slammed last Friday night with an $800+ day) I wish it would always be like that because I work on commission. The bigger my days, the more $$ I make. However, I have been instructed to watch for the big 'slow down'. They shut down beds, and sometimes even entire rooms in the summer because all the doctors seem to think they can take off the entire summer holiday. They practically work with skeleton crews. Its pitiful really. AND, it is so hot in the big hospital that I am practically dripping sweat when I leave work (nice pic eh? blech) I feel more sorry for the patients who are in their rooms with nothing to do except sit there and roast to death. On most floors, they shut off as many lights as they can get away with, pull blinds in paitents rooms, and they have about a zillion fans going just to get a wee bit of relief. It doesnt work.

Well, so far so good on my path to blog every day. 2 days - 2 posts. YAY me. Im off to get ready for work, so unless anything spectacular happens later today, I'll see y'all tomorrow.
